Neuroscape: From MRI to 'brain dive'

Neuroscape: From MRI to 'Braindive' is an ongoing collaboration with scientists at King's College London's Centre for Developmental Neurobiology. MRI brain scans from a real world participant - 'Johnny', has been processed and transferred into a virtual brain, accessible from VR equipment. Within this virtual environment, we have magnified the brain to a building sized object, enabling scientists to dive through the intricate folds of the brain sample's grey and white matter, along side a range of virtual tools to 'slice', 'peel', or 'X-Ray' through the brain sample.

This VR experience was showcased at a Create Late evening hosted at the Science Museum in May 2024.
